Conditions for pre-orders

Jord & Frihet is a non-profit association where all members work voluntarily in our spare time based on an idea of international solidarity. Our trade with farmers in Palestine and other producers is part of that work. Therefore, our method of trading is different from "normal" market rules. Of course, we try as much as possible to make everything smooth and easy, but we ask for your understanding that things may take longer than usual. In addition, we ask that you read and agree to these terms and conditions.

Terms:

1. Pre-order agreement: Through your pre-order of olive oil, you enter into an agreement where we are tasked with ordering the product on your behalf from the producer.

2. Payment: When buying olive oil during the pre-order period, you can choose to pay either the full amount or 25%.

3. Risks: Through your order, you enter into an agreement with us where you give us the right to pre-order your goods from the olive oil cooperative in Palestine. We will always try to fulfill this agreement but would like to point out a number of risks in doing business with us. There is always a risk that Israel will close borders, banking systems or transport routes. Other unforeseen events beyond our control may also occur. This may make it impossible for us to get goods out of Palestine. In cases where this happens, we will refund the money you paid us.

4. Collection conditions: If you have not collected your prepaid goods yourself within three months from the date we announced that you can collect them, we assume that your order has been cancelled. We will remind you at least twice via the e-mail you used when purchasing. If you still haven't picked up your goods, we will keep the funds you transferred to us and cancel your order.

5. Delivery date : Due to factors mentioned in point 3, etc., we cannot guarantee the delivery date of your order. It may take several months longer than we estimated.

6. Guaranteed goods: In cases where you did not pre-pay for your goods but only placed an order without payment, we cannot guarantee that you will receive them.

7. Own responsibility for collection: You hereby agree that you are aware that Jord & Frihet does not deliver the goods to your specified address and that you need to collect your goods yourself regardless of the amount paid.

8. No open purchase or right of trade: We do not offer open purchase or right of trade when you buy anything from us. But we are happy to help you as far as we can to find new buyers for the goods you don't want. In case of unjustified cancellation of purchase, you may have to pay damages for the additional costs incurred due to the cancellation. If we do not succeed in reselling the goods, damages can be paid up to the full price of the goods.

9. Right of withdrawal: The right of withdrawal according to the Distance Contracts Act applies 14 days from the date on which the agreement was concluded. The right of withdrawal is exercised by sending an e-mail to the e-mail address specified below or a physical letter to the street address specified below. The Swedish Consumer Agency's standard form can be used when exercising the right of withdrawal, see https://publikationer.konsumentverket.se/kontrakt-och-mallar/angerblankett .

10. Traceability and complaints : We can guarantee the traceability of our goods and have routines for complaints in the event of a fault in the product. The provisions of the Consumer Purchase Act on complaints in the event of a fault in the product are applicable. Claims and complaints are sent to our email address or street address, see below.

11. Information according to the Distance Contracts Act : You enter into an agreement with the non-profit association Jord och Frihet with organization number 8024386917. Our street address is Tjärhovsgatan 44, 116 28 Stockholm and our e-mail address is info@jordfrihet.org.
